Botox and Fillers
Botox / Neuromodulator
Botox is a neuromodulator that helps with wrinkle prevention and relaxation of the muscle to allow for lifting and slimming to the area. There are several brands of neuromodulators such as Botox, Xeomin and Jeuveau and they work similarly to relax the muscle.
Commonly treated areas:
Forehead, between the eyebrows and around the eyes (crow’s feet) for wrinkle prevention and lifting of the eyes for a more awake appearance.
Other areas: Chin, Jawline, Bands on the Neck, Jaw (masseter), Neck, Nose, Gummy Smile, Upper Shoulders (TrapTox), Calves for slimming and Underarm for excessive sweating
Dermal Filler
Commonly treated areas are lips, smile lines, cheeks and jawline
Dermal Filler injection is a non-surgical procedure to enhance our facial features. Most dermal fillers used in our practice are hyaluronic acid (HA) based which is a substance we naturally produce in our body. Hyaluronic acid draws water making our skin plump. HA injections can help with volume enhancement, smoothing of the area and definition. As we age, we lose volume on our face and body due to thinning of the bones, skin, fat and muscle causing a tired and sunken appearance. Dermal fillers can help reduce that appearance creating an overall healthy, youthful and balanced look so we can feel and look confident.
Radiesse High Definition
Radiesse is a calcium hydroxylapatite dermal filler that is used to treat areas like the cheek and jawline to give you defined facial sculpting and “snatched” appearance. High cheekbones and defined jawlines are associated with confidence, sharpness and attractiveness. Other areas that are commonly treated are neck and hands for wrinkles with diluted Radiesse. Unlike other dermal fillers, it is also a bio stimulator for your body to make more collagen and elastin, which gives you a more youthful appearance over time. As we age and have increased exposure to sun and other environmental factors, we lose collagen and elastin, making us look tired, having increased wrinkles and skin laxity. Radiesse helps build collagen and elastin in our body while giving us the more confident and sculpted appearance.
